The Mepps Aglia Flying C has quickly become a firm favourite among salmon anglers up and down the country thanks to its reliable performance and fish catching ability! The Aglia Flying C is available in a range of sizes and colours to suit different conditions, from small streams to the largest rivers, these lures work well right through the season and can often entice a fish to bite when nothing else can. Although these lures are incredibly popular with salmon anglers, they have proven equally effective for sea trout, trout and even pike! These lures are designed with a blade attached to a coloured sleeve and are finished with an ultra sharp treble hook at the base. The silicone body of these lures gives them an enticing profile and is topped with a blade made from high quality metals to ensure it keeps its shine even after extended use and will rotate freely through the water. Whilst rotating the fish are able to feel the vibrations of the lure along the lateral line. This helps draw fish into your lures. The flying C lure is always a popular choice on any river thanks to its ability to fish well both up and downstream. This is thanks to the unique blade design which allows them to spin freely at incredible speeds as soon as the lure hits the water, meaning you can fish with peace of mind knowing your lure is fishing properly. The blades on these lures have been built to work at much slower speeds than any other flying C.
